Yasutomo Nagai's YZF being pushed by one of his mechanics. This guy attacked the corkscrew like no other. He would go in hard and spin the back tire wildly on the way out of the bottom. He's the only guy I can remember that rode the corkscrew that hard. It probably wasn't the fastest way, but it sure was impressive. He tragically lost his life later that year at Assen. After a non life threatening fall, the bike fell on him, killing him.



Another beautifully prepared YZF, ridden by Paolo Casoli. These were some of my favorite superbikes ever. They just looked so right in every way. It's no wonder the Italian teams are often Yamaha.
