·Level 2 support for ADSM/TSM and Tivoli Decision Support for Storage Management Analysis (January 2000 - Present)

IBM/Tivoli (Tucson, Arizona)

Main responsibility: Level 2 support for Tivoli Decision Support for Storage Management analysis (works in conjunction with Tivoli Storage Manager as a reporting/administration tool). Currently helping to train other staff on the technical aspects of this product. This requires skill with the ADSM/TSM product and relational databases. I also excel at managing TSM on Unix platforms.


·Software Function Test (February 1999 - February 2000, college intern)

IBM (Tucson, Arizona)

Test new functionality of IBM\u’s ADSM backup software (now called Tivoli Storage Manager). Perform tests on variety of operating systems including AIX, Windows NT, Sun Solaris, VM, MVS, A/S400 and HP. Have contact with many managers and software developers. I was the AIX platform owner for my test group.

Activities/Interests


·Internet Service

I run servers from my house on Linux and FreeBSD that my friends use for email and web service. I do this to gain experience in Unix administration and because it is fun!

Volunteer with organizing activities.

Play electric guitar occasionally with local bands as well as assist bandmembers with technical problems.

·Motorcyclist

Particularly enjoy long distance travel and attending international races.

·I have an active desire to live in the UK because my girlfriend is british and it

is an appealing place to be for a motorcyclist.
